The Inquirer reported that Judge Marvin R. Halbert, whose unconventional courtroom demeanor has triggered protests in three civil cases, has been removed as a Common Pleas Court senior judge and is no longer hearing cases. Common Pleas Court President Judge Alex Bonavitacola said Monday that he had removed Halbert from a pool of senior judges, who are approved for service by the state Supreme Court.
