In separate instances, Judge Aubrey F. Kaplan apparently does not know the law on jurisdiction of the court in divorce matters. As a motion judge, he has the duty to be certain that all divorce matters before him have been lawfully conferred upon the court. Judge Kaplan does not inspect each case before him, but assumes that he has jurisdiction, even when he does not.
Judge Aubrey Kaplan, you should be ashamed of yourself in your acting when you have no lawful authority.
