TO HELL WITH THE PUBLIC

Appellate Judge Marvin Leavitt and Associate Judge Robert E. Gordon ran for election as full Circuit Court Judges in Cook County. Neither judge won election and their terms of office were to expire at the end of the 1998 term.

The public spoke; the public decided that neither judge was their choice and elected other judges for the position as full Circuit Court judges.

Notwithstanding that the public did not want these judges to be their judges, the Illinois Supreme Court, on November 12, 1998, appointed both judges to be full Circuit Court judges.

The Illinois Supreme Court said the Hell with the public, if the public did not want certain judges, the Supreme Court said they will appoint them as judges.

What is the reason to vote for judges in Illinois if the Supreme Court can rule against the wishes of the public?

     Who made these Justices GOD?

Since Leavitt and Gordon were not appointed judges pursuant to the lawful authority granted by the Illinois Constitution, do these judges have any legal authority to rule in any case? or are their decisions null and void?

Is it now time to remove these Supreme Court Justices from office for violating the Illinois Constitution? and replace them with justices who know and follow the law?
