Both attorney James J. Reagan and James J. Reagan, P.C. were prohibited to practice law in the State of Illinois. In any action in which attorney James Reagan or James J. Reagan, P.C. acted during the time that they were prohibited from practicing law, that action is void, of no legal force or effect.

Attorney James J. Reagan was found guilty of eight counts of aiding and abetting the commission of the offense of mail fraud by a jury in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division.

On August 11, 1998, attorney James J. Reagan was effectively disbarred from the practice of law. A copy of his admissions of misconduct can be found here.
